# vibedata-dlt-fabric-notebook

Fabric notebook execution unit for the VibeData dlt runtime — the installed distribution for Fabric domains running inside a Fabric notebook. Key Vault access uses `notebookutils.credentials`. dlt writes Delta straight into the Lakehouse's OneLake `Tables` folder, so a `replace` load overwrites the table in place and `finalize()` is audit-only. The unit has no sign-in code: the Fabric kernel binds its own OneLake filesystem to `abfss://`, and it signs in as the notebook's identity. Run it on the Python 3.12 kernel (the Fabric default); the 3.11 kernel's copy of that filesystem returns file listings dlt cannot read. Also provides `project_dir()`, which resolves the domain's dlt project on the attached Lakehouse's mounted `Files`.

```python
from vibedata.dlt.fabric import setup_environment, finalize
```

Install this package; it pulls in `vibedata-dlt-fabric-core` (and transitively
`vibedata-dlt-core`). `notebookutils` is provided by the Fabric runtime, not a
pip dependency. The Studio unit (`vibedata-dlt-fabric-studio`) ships the same
`vibedata.dlt.fabric` import with Studio-mode implementations — exactly one
Fabric unit is installed per environment, selected at provisioning time.
