Native gzip includes unmodified source from libdeflate 1.25 by Eric
Biggers and contributors (MIT) and zlib 1.3.2 by Jean-loup Gailly and Mark
Adler (Zlib), plus ISA-L 2.31.1 by Intel Corporation and contributors
(BSD-3-Clause). Source provenance and full license notices are included under
native/compress/vendor/libdeflate/, native/compress/vendor/zlib/, and
native/compress/vendor/isa-l/; built distributions retain all three license files.
The retained ISA-L C selection widens three Huffman lookup-table counters;
its provenance records the original source hash. Other project-owned ISA-L
adaptations apply to verified private build snapshots.
macOS uses its platform libz for stream inflation.
