Launchpad Proprietary Evaluation License
Version 1.0 — 2026-07-13

Copyright (c) 2026 Gabriel Costanzo. All rights reserved.

1. Proprietary software

Launchpad, including its source code, object code, documentation, examples, and
other materials supplied with it (the "Software"), is proprietary software. It
is not open-source software. Except for the limited permission stated in
Section 2, no rights are granted by implication, estoppel, or otherwise.

2. Limited evaluation permission

Subject to these terms, the copyright owner grants a lawful recipient a
revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable copyright
license to:

  a. access and inspect the Software;
  b. make copies technically necessary to compile and run the Software; and
  c. compile and run the Software within the recipient's own organization,
     solely for internal, non-production evaluation; and
  d. generate and use, solely for that evaluation, unmodified first-party
     output that the Software automatically produces from its bundled examples
     or templates.

First-party examples, templates, and copies generated from them remain
Software and remain subject to these terms. Copyright, license, attribution,
and proprietary notices must be preserved.

3. Restrictions

Unless the copyright owner gives prior written permission in a separate
agreement, a recipient may not:

  a. use the Software in production or for any commercial purpose;
  b. modify the Software or create derivative works from it;
  c. distribute, publish, sublicense, sell, rent, lease, transfer, or otherwise
     make the Software available to another person or legal entity;
  d. use the Software to provide a hosted, managed, consulting, or other service
     to another person or legal entity;
  e. remove or alter copyright, license, attribution, or proprietary notices; or
  f. represent that the Software is open source or that the recipient owns it.

4. No other rights

No patent, trademark, trade-secret, or other intellectual-property right is
granted under this license. "Launchpad" and associated names and marks may not
be used to endorse or promote a product or service without prior written
permission.

5. Third-party materials

Third-party software and materials are governed by their respective license
terms, not this license. Applicable notices are identified in
THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES and accompanying dependency materials.

6. Termination

The permission in Section 2 terminates automatically upon breach of these
terms. After termination, the recipient must stop using the Software and
destroy copies in its possession or control, except for copies that applicable
law requires it to retain.

7. No support obligation

The copyright owner has no obligation to provide maintenance, support, updates,
upgrades, or error corrections.

8. Disclaimer of warranty

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED
"AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED,
INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE,
TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE COPYRIGHT OWNER WILL NOT
BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY,
CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE,
GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SOFTWARE OR
THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

10. Additional permissions

Production, commercial, modification, redistribution, service-provider, or
other rights require a separate written agreement from the copyright owner.
