PLATE9 1.2.0 — WINDOWS PLAYTEST

1. Close Plate9, extract the ZIP, and run Install-Offline.cmd.
Use your existing Python environment and dependencies.
Check-Plate9.cmd should report success; py -m plate9 --version should say 1.2.0.

2. Resume your existing table. Check cards, credits, XP and unlocked guests.
The pre-upgrade save is automatically retained beside the current save.

3. Inspect cards at your normal Windows scaling. Are front ranks easier to read?
On reveals, can you still read the lower card's rank under the committed card?
Check the backs, title crest, choice icons and the Guest/Ting side icons.

4. Commit a card and replace an eligible card during a later 30-second memory
window. Both should slide briefly into place. The timer must not reset.
Turn on Reduced motion: neither slide should run. Pausing covers private cards.

5. Open the new graph button beside Career (or Ctrl+E). Search companies, change
sectors, switch between line and candle charts, hover prices, and use Watch.
With earned banked credits, review a small buy, cancel once, then confirm.
Sell part of the holding. Check cash, fees, holdings and transaction receipts.
Leave a review open for a price update: an expired quote must not confirm.
Close/reopen Plate9: the shares and transaction history should still be there.

6. SOUND — the most important Windows check:
   - Open Table menu > Test sound, then resume the table.
   - Play long enough to pass the point where sound previously stopped.
   - Try mute/unmute, volume changes, opening/closing Career and the Exchange,
minimizing/restoring, and a speaker/headphone change if normally used.
   - You should not need to adjust the Windows tray volume to restore effects.
   - If it drops out, note the approximate elapsed time, the last screen/action,
output device (speakers, USB, Bluetooth, HDMI), whether Test sound works,
and the status text in the table menu. A screenshot is useful.

7. Report any stutter during a card slide or market update, and your window size
and Windows display scaling (for example, 1920x1080 at 125%).

The exchange is a fictional in-game economy. Quotes continue while its table
is paused, and freeze when Plate9 is closed. Banked cash funds trades; table
stakes, assistance and XP cannot fund orders.
