PLATE9 1.2.7 — NINTH EMBER CIRCUIT, OPPONENT INSIGHT AND GOLD PLATES

DEEP AUDIT AND RELIABILITY REVIEW
- Fixed a cancelled Circuit worker mutating its cached referee under the old
checkpoint. A retry now resumes exactly the caller's saved moves and notebooks.
- Save failures pause play and background tables, preserve the last successful
file, and retry at most once per second. Recovery stays paused until resumed.
Pending Circuit prize credits are saved once, without duplicate payment.
- Reopened Circuits wait for explicit Resume, including spectator-only stages.
Saving errors have an explicit retry action in the Circuit interface.
- Unreadable and malformed saves are preserved without crashing startup.
Circuit validation now checks stage progression, results, seats, chip pockets,
receipts and parked table shapes. Earlier Circuit saves remain supported.
- Added draft reserves to Circuit standings so all 600 table chips are visible
across free stacks, pot, reserve and escrow. Prior saves recover this pocket
  from the exact conserved total.
- Saves serialize their full state once and reuse one live-table snapshot.
Background match updates refresh only their bracket; historical observation
reads jump directly to the notebook cursor. Diagnostic receipts are bounded.
- Rewrote README for the complete current feature set, retaining the approved
gameplay screenshot as its only link. Version remains 1.2.7; nothing published.
- Added regression, replay/accounting stress and repeatable performance checks.
Existing artwork, audio and authored opponent programs remain byte-identical.

NINTH EMBER CIRCUIT
- Offline 27-player championship: 9 opening tables, 3 semifinals and 1 final.
Fixed bracket, 24/24/32-round limits, 200 chips per seat per stage and a
  5,000-credit entry. Final prizes: 40,000 / 20,000 / 10,000 credits.
- Every event draws 14 challengers from 72 new portrait profiles, nine ordinary
guests and three mysteries. Class-balanced opening bands and recent-player
rotation vary the field. Mystery encounters require no sculpture purchase.
- All Circuit seats use the standard deck. Opponent line graphs are free for
this event. Ordinary graph ownership, career history and equipped decks stay
intact and return when the Circuit is left.
- Portrait brackets show actual chip stacks, locks, pot and escrow. Other
tables use the real rules engine and authored Ting programs in a bounded
background process. Short draw, arrival and settlement animations respect
reduced motion. No new sound files or runtime dependencies are needed.
- Nine locks wins outright. Otherwise fully settled chips, locks and open gold
determine rank. Exact qualifier ties use a precommitted seeded draw; exact
final ties share their title and affected prizes. No false Plate9 badge.
- Save & Exit parks the exact event and restores the ordinary table. Withdrawal
is separately confirmed. Entry/prize transactions use the existing atomic
save, and award receipts prevent double payment after restart.
- Save envelope 5 and replay format 7 retain support for older saves. A
pre-circuit backup preserves the previous schema-4 file during upgrade.
- The game remains unpublished version 1.2.7.

CARD FACE COLOR REFINEMENT
- Removed the green ceramic panel and green accents from all 52 gold faces.
The reflective gold gradients, faceted suits, bold ranks and exposed lower
rank positions remain. Default card backs keep their existing inlays.
- All nine bicycle decks now use white regular faces, with a fine border
matching their own back-art palette. Their gold faces use uninterrupted
gold, front and back. Original bicycle artwork remains on normal backs.
Custom gold backs use an all-gold vector finish without green inlays.
- Standard regular faces use neutral graphite without a green tint.
Card geometry, memory rules, animations and saved purchases are unchanged.

This is a new release following the published 1.2.6.
The current README describes these additions and the Circuit, and retains
the approved screenshot as its only link. Package metadata, installer and
the application version command identify this release as 1.2.7.

- Added Opponent Insight in Career > Table tools: a one-time, 100,000-credit
purchase for every guest. Review, cancel, confirmation and a saved success
receipt make payment explicit. Save failure rolls back credits and ownership.
- Added a full-width fixed bar above each guest's public card row. Before
purchase it shows a centered gold lock and cannot open the chart. Ownership
replaces the lock with a graph icon. A 190 ms upward/downward animation
opens and hides the graph without moving the bar or cards; reduced motion
is immediate. The closed graph is unloaded and uses no background animation.
- Opponent graphs retain 96 actual public plays per guest across sessions.
Patterns shows rolling 12-reveal rates for matched wagers, unmatched raises
and J-A raises; Wagers shows main stakes and main-pot returns. Choose 48 or
96 plays and inspect the inline readout with the pointer or arrow keys.
Possible bluffs are explicitly inferred from unmatched raises, not presented
as known intent. Concealed Stays are classified only after public reveal.
Shared guest-handoff hands are omitted instead of misattributed.
- Existing saves migrate with their table, credits, XP, purchases and market
  intact. A pre-opponent-insight backup preserves the original newer save;
older pre-1.2.0 saves retain their existing backup naming. No retrospective
private history is invented. Career and save envelopes now use format 4.
- Redesigned all 52 gold faces and four gold back finishes with layered
reflective metal, ceramic back inlays, faceted suit symbols, optical engraving
and a fabricated nine-cell Ninth Ember crest. Aurora, Royal and Obsidian
backs retain their own accent colors. All art remains resolution-independent.
- Refined the gold rank lettering with bold geometric strokes. Corner rank
positions and the exposed lower rank on stacked reveals are preserved.
Lighting is baked into compact SVG paths; there are no added animations,
shaders, raster textures or per-frame effects.
- Removed hover and focus tooltips from every Plate9 control, including
the guest and Ting rails, public-board buttons and study view. The
embedded Ting help no longer uses browser title tooltips either.
- Replaced the exchange chart's floating hover box with a fixed, inline
price-and-volume readout. Crosshair inspection remains available.
- Numbered the stock order steps: choose Buy or Sell, enter shares,
review the purchase or sale, then confirm. Choosing a side or reviewing
an order does not trade. The final button names the action explicitly.
- Added a persistent PURCHASE COMPLETE or SALE COMPLETE result after a
successful save. It shows shares traded, credits paid or received,
the included fee, remaining cash, current holdings and receipt number.
View transactions opens the saved receipt history. Cancelled or failed
orders explain their result; an unsuccessful save never shows success.
- Added nine permanent bicycle decks to Career: Flatlander, Mountain Biker,
BMX, Ramp Rider, Triathlon Biker, Rock Climber Biker, Street BMX Rider,
Downhill Mountain Biker and Base Jumping Biker. Each is 80,000 banked credits,
with artwork previews, purchase confirmation and free re-equipping.
Stock-sale proceeds can fund purchases. The downhill design uses a special
aerodynamic bicycle and suit on a paved descent. Gold rims stay distinct.
- Filled the final two sculpture slots with the Dyson Sphere (500,000 XP)
and Massive Galactic Trader Ship (1,000,000 XP), each with original crystal
  artwork and a permanent dated certificate. Dyson Sphere unlocks Freddie Mercury;
Galactic Trader Ship unlocks Stephen Hawking. Both appear as healthy
fictional multiverse guests with individual Emperor playing styles:
Freddie bluffs with surprising high-note wagers; Stephen follows a sliding
table of probabilities using public evidence and remembered cards. Both have
full-resolution portraits. Freddie uses Carl Lender's licensed concert
photograph, credited in his profile; Stephen has blink/focus poses.
  The gallery now has
16 sculptures, and the roster has 42 guests including 10 mystery invitations.
Older certificates and all original guests retain their mappings.
- Bicycle decks sit directly beside Time Crystals and spend banked credits
only. Sculpture purchases continue to spend available XP only.
- Optimized the room background at its original resolution using WebP
quality 98. Original portrait and bicycle artwork files are unchanged.
- Updated the offline guide's gold illustrations and stock instructions.
Guide illustrations reuse the exact shipped SVGs instead of embedded copies.
- Retained the requested screenshot URL in the refreshed README.

Card animation, game rules, exchange simulation,
sound, original portraits and existing Ting decision programs are unchanged. Existing table,
career and exchange saves load directly. No new runtime dependencies. Text compression is lossless; all existing
portraits, card backs, bicycle back art, sculptures and audio keep their exact bytes.

Close Plate9 before running Install-Offline.cmd from the extracted 1.2.7
folder. Check-Plate9.cmd verifies the installed package.
