PyCForge 1.3.69 — custom file operations and standard imports
Work date: 2026-10-30 (America/Chicago)
Baseline: PyCForge 1.3.68; companion SDK 0.6.1.
Unpublished development handoff. Only CC publishes.

DELIVERED
All ordinary file operations retain custom titlebars. The remaining conversion
add-ons folder chooser now uses the shared custom file dialog. All file pickers
include drive/root shortcuts alongside typed locations and Home/Up/Go. Folder
selection validates an existing directory; cancel does not return a selection.
Open/save/replace behavior remains in the existing workspace services.

Distinct .pcfplugin, .pcfproj, Python and C tree badges are available. Import
registration buttons have icons plus text. Each import row has a default badge;
disabled imports have a gray badge and name while remaining inspectable. The
import Help vertical scrollbar is 28 logical pixels, twice the normal 14.
About / Distribution exposes the running interpreter as SDK Python.

Math 0.3.0 and NumPy 0.2.0 are the small standard set. Both appear automatically,
use the ordinary bounded admission path and can be disabled independently.
The NumPy package is byte-identical to the prior independently delivered 0.2.0
package. Its conversion scope is unchanged: finite contiguous one-dimensional
float64 arrays and the documented operations in Runtime mode, not general NumPy.
SDK authoring remains open to additional namespaces and contract-qualified
libraries; this is not a two-library limit.

Upgrade reads preserve an older explicit NumPy registration or disabled choice.
The new bundled NumPy is suppressed until explicitly enabled in that case.
Reads never rewrite the registry. Explicit changes persist an optional catalogue
marker. Older strict engines may reject that updated registry; preserve its old
copy before a manual downgrade. Corrupt indexes and invalid packages retain the
existing visible, recoverable failure behavior.

VERIFICATION
181 installed engine/native tests passed. These include existing math and NumPy
contracts, native GCC comparisons and sanitizer fixtures, and a new ordinary
converter test using both bundled imports without registering a file.
The final engine differs from that test wheel only in two UI presentation files
and one Help prose change; converter, registry, packages and native support bytes
are identical. ASAN_OPTIONS=detect_leaks=0; no LeakSanitizer claim is made.

75 final installed dialog/import tests passed, plus 19 subtests. They cover file
selection, save/replace, cancellation, custom chrome, import icons, 28-pixel Help,
registration upgrades, corrupted files, timeout/crash recovery, session blocking,
completion and disabled-import Help. Six final installed desktop-launch scenarios
passed: normal, damaged package, corrupt index, safe start, worker timeout/crash.

The final manual check passed for 31 pages in five categories: 81 Python examples
(49 Runtime and 32 Typed native comparisons), five API examples, four C callers,
three module examples and three README examples. README rendering passes with its
exact four approved images. Its only prose change describes bundled NumPy.
Installed About contains the exact SDK interpreter path. Dialog layouts were
visually inspected, including import controls and the widened manual scrollbar.

Qualification host: Linux x86_64, Python 3.12.14, PySide6 6.12.0, NumPy 2.5.4 and
GCC. No native Windows/macOS desktop session or PCFC11 rerun was performed. Windows
uses QDir drive enumeration and platform Path behavior; environment-shaped path
fixtures do not establish native Windows usability. This was a focused UI/import
qualification, not a rerun of every historical PyCForge test.

ATTEMPTS AND PRESERVATION
Early review found an icon alias typo and an incorrect new test's documentation
status expectation; both were corrected. Old tests' counts and row positions were
updated for two defaults without removing their recovery assertions. The first
full-launch attempt lacked numba in the test environment; after installing the
existing declared dependency, all six source and six installed cases passed.
README rendering initially lacked its development Markdown extra; it passes after
that test dependency was installed. Original logs and successful follow-ups remain.

All 4,053 baseline source file paths are retained. No earlier development material
was removed. New policy, tests, logs and reports are included in the source archive.
The four approved README images, existing math package and converter semantics
are preserved. Distribution hashes and final archive checks are in the companion
PyCForge-1.3.69-SDK-0.6.1-Verification.txt report. Nothing was published.
