# Pyvorin Thin Client

The `pyvorin` package is the public thin client for the Pyvorin platform. It is
a **shim**: it contains no compiler implementation and re-exports the thin client
from `pyvorin-thin`.

The protected Pyvorin compiler core is delivered separately as a
customer/device-bound `.pyvpkg`, verified and decrypted by the thin client, and
loaded only through `pyvorin_thin.ProtectedCoreLoader`. Compilation happens
locally on the customer's device; source is never uploaded.

## Install

```bash
pip install pyvorin --extra-index-url https://pypi.pyvorin.com/simple
```

## Quick start

```bash
pyvorin activate PYV-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
pyvorin doctor          # environment + pinned keys + installed core
pyvorin update          # fetch, verify, decrypt and install the core
pyvorin status          # active core build + entitlement
pyvorin rollback        # restore the previous verified core
```

## What is NOT in this wheel

- No compiler implementation (no `native_compiler`, lowering, planner or router).
- No `.so` extension modules or generated C.
- No HMAC/lease secrets.

## Deprecated alias

The `pyvorin-thin` distribution is the same implementation under its original
name; use `pyvorin` for new installs.
