DATA SOVEREIGNTY & RESPONSIBLE-USE NOTICE
================================================================================
This NOTICE is part of the distribution. The LICENSE requires it, together
with the Required Notice above, to be carried forward into any permitted
redistribution. The permission requirement is set by the LICENSE; the clauses
below add the data-rights / sovereignty context that governs the Cree data and
standard.

1. COMMUNITY PROPERTY / NON-COMMERCIAL (Plains Cree standard).
The Plains Cree (nêhiyawêwin) language-validation standard provided here —
the `crk` lane (linter, semantic validator, and the validation rubric it
encodes) — and any Plains Cree language data it operates on are treated as
the property of the nêhiyaw (Plains Cree) language community. This standard
is offered for NON-COMMERCIAL, community-benefit use. Commercial use of the
Cree standard is reserved pending community consent; relational-trust
governance is in progress. Use is expected to align with Indigenous data
   sovereignty principles.

2. NO BUNDLED DATA — FETCH, DON'T SCRAPE.
This package bundles NO dictionary, gloss, lexicon, or corpus data. Gloss
data is fetched live, per-lemma, from the public itwêwina API
(https://itwewina.altlab.app) under the operator's own access, and cached
locally for the operator's own use only. The underlying dictionary content
(Wolvengrey CW; Maskwacîs MD; AECD) is NOT openly licensed. Do NOT commit,
redistribute, publish, or bundle the local cache. Acknowledging these terms
is required before gloss data is fetched (see "Acknowledging IP terms" below).

3. FST INVOKED AS A SEPARATE TOOL.
Morphological analysis uses a finite-state transducer (e.g. the GiellaLT /
ALTLab Plains Cree FST, AGPL-3.0). The FST is downloaded on demand and
invoked as a SEPARATE tool. It is never bundled into, or linked into, this
   package.

4. INLINE LINGUISTIC FACTS ARE CITED, NOT EXTRACTED.
The small hand-curated lists in this code (optional particles, lemma-synonym
pairs, structural/grammatical words, orthographic alternations) are
widely-published, cross-referenced common facts of Plains Cree grammar —
citable to multiple published grammars and lexica (e.g. Wolfart & Carroll,
_Meet Cree_; Okimāsis, _Cree: Language of the Plains_; Ahenakew, _Cree
Language Structures_; Wolvengrey, _nêhiyawêwin: itwêwina_). They are
references to published fact, not bulk-extracted dictionary data.

Acknowledging IP terms (for automation):
Set CHAMPOLLION_LYSS_ACCEPT_IP=1 to acknowledge these terms in
   non-interactive runs. CI / harness auto-setup environments auto-acknowledge,
and the warning is always printed. Interactive runs prompt once and remember
the acknowledgment locally. Without acknowledgment, gloss lookups are
disabled and gloss-dependent scores are reported as unavailable (never
   fabricated).
