# gufi

Python runner for Claviron — **a Rust crate, not a Python package.** There is
nothing here to import.

Gufi compiles a Python application's own binary against Claviron. You write
`main.rs`, your ASGI application runs inside the process it builds, and the
runner is a part you assemble rather than a program you hand your application
to. It is a dependency in `Cargo.toml`:

```toml
[dependencies]
gufi = "0.1"
```

Inside a running process the application imports `claviron`, not `gufi` — the
runtime installs that module, and the [`claviron`](https://pypi.org/project/claviron/)
package carries its type signatures for your editor.
