# quickpass

Generate strong passwords in one line.

[![PyPI](https://img.shields.io/pypi/v/quickpass-rahul-neogi)](https://pypi.org/project/quickpass-rahul-neogi/)

```bash
pip install quickpass-rahul-neogi
```

**Terminal**
```bash
quickpass                 # one 16-char password
quickpass -l 24 -n 3      # three 24-char passwords
quickpass --no-symbols    # letters and digits only
```

> **"quickpass is not recognized" / "Scripts ... is not on PATH" warning?**
> Use `python -m quickpass` instead. It works the same and doesn't depend on PATH:
> ```bash
> python -m quickpass -l 20 -n 3
> ```

**Python**
```python
from quickpass import generate
print(generate())                 # e.g. 'q7#Rk_2mZp!x9LwA'
print(generate(24, symbols=False))
```

Every password has at least one lowercase letter, one uppercase letter and one digit, plus a symbol unless you pass `--no-symbols`. Randomness comes from Python's `secrets` module.
