Application and exports

Result looks stale

Wait until the top status reads Analysis current or the workbench status reads Complete. Starting a new workbench run cancels the previous request and only the newest response may replace the visible result.

A simulation is slow

Sample-size search is Monte Carlo simulation over candidate sizes. Reduce the declared maximum size or simulation count for exploration, then restore a defensible count for the result you retain. The result records the count and seed.

Export cannot be written

Close any program holding the destination ZIP, choose a writable local destination, and retry. Exports are assembled in memory and never overwrite the source recording.

Desktop window is blank

The native window uses Microsoft Edge WebView2. Install or repair the current WebView2 runtime, or start Circadian Workbench with --browser to use the normal browser. The analysis engine and local data are the same in both modes.

Server cannot be reached

Close the window, start the application again, and use the page it opens. The loopback server chooses a free local port and is intentionally unreachable from other computers.
