1 · Mac → Terminal
Get your pairing code
Open Terminal on your Mac. Copy this command, paste it into Terminal, and press Return.
curl -fsSL https://llmcom-connector.fly.dev/install.sh | sh -s -- --client openai
This installs or updates LLMCom and opens a private browser page with a Copy pairing code button. Click that button. Keep the code private.
LLMCom is already installed
llmcom phone myphone --client openai
Run this whenever you need a fresh code. Codes expire after 10 minutes.
2 · Mac → Browser → ChatGPT
Connect LLMCom in ChatGPT
Open ChatGPT Plugins ↗Sign in to the same OpenAI account you use on your phone.
First time connecting?
- In ChatGPT, click Add → Add custom MCP server.
- Name: LLMCom. Copy this Server URL:
https://llmcom-connector.fly.dev/mcp
- Choose OAuth. Leave the automatically discovered settings as they are. Review the notice and click Create as a plugin.
- Click Continue to LLMCom. ChatGPT opens our website at llmcom-connector.fly.dev.
- On that page, paste your code into One-time pairing code and click Connect this Mac’s LLMCom. You return to ChatGPT. Finish installing if prompted.
Already added LLMCom, or lost the sign-in tab?
Click Open ChatGPT Plugins above. Open your LLMCom plugin and use its Connect control to start sign-in again. ChatGPT opens a fresh pairing page. You do not need an old tab or a saved sign-in URL.
If LLMCom was never saved, follow “First time connecting?” above. If it is already connected, go to step 3.
The code goes on our Fly.io page, not into OpenAI’s password box. This public guide does not contain your code. If it expired, repeat step 1 and restart Connect in ChatGPT.
3 · Your coding chat, then your phone
Try one message
In the coding conversation on your Mac, ask:
Run llmcom join myphone in this conversation.
Now open ChatGPT on your phone → Codex → your coding chat. Select LLMCom in the chat’s plugins/tools menu, if available, then say or type:
Use LLMCom to join myphone as my-phone, say hello, then listen for replies.
If LLMCom is missing from that phone chat, stop here. Tell us which screen you see. Phone Codex voice support is still being verified; desktop pairing alone does not prove it works there.
1 · Mac → Terminal
Open your private Claude setup
curl -fsSL https://llmcom-connector.fly.dev/install.sh | sh
Paste into Terminal on your Mac and press Return. A private browser page opens with your server URL and Authorization value.
2 · Mac → Browser → Claude
Add LLMCom to Claude
Open Claude Connectors ↗- Add a custom connector named LLMCom Remote.
- Copy the server URL from your private setup page.
- Select No sign-in. Under Request headers, use Authorization and paste the complete Bearer … value from that same private page. Leave Required checked.
- Save. Use this same Claude account on your phone.
3 · Your coding chat, then your phone
Try one message
Ask your Mac coding conversation to run llmcom join myphone. On your phone, open a new Claude chat and enable LLMCom Remote.
Use LLMCom Remote to join myphone as my-phone, say hello, then listen for replies.
What to expect
Keep your Mac awake and online. Listening lasts up to 18 seconds per active call and returns early when a message arrives. It does not wake an idle chat.
Each person sets this up on their own Mac and account. Your friend gets their own private workspace. Never share your pairing code or private setup page.
These are custom connectors, not verified public directory listings.
