Create a quest
Describe the mission and who it involves. Sidequestor creates an explicitly marked bootstrap quest, then resolves exact watches on the next triage tick without guessing.
The quest remains visibly initialising until triage verifies a real watch or a completed one-shot outcome.


Sidequestor settings
Edit .env in your workspace. Add or change KEY=value; remove a line to restore its runtime default. Quote values containing spaces. Keep credentials in Keychain or a secret manager. Credential values are hidden here.
Most changes apply on the next poll or dispatch. Run sq stop, then sq start after changing loop intervals or exported process settings. If a process environment value takes precedence, update or unset that exported variable too. Existing terminal sessions may need reopening. Review agent model and permission changes before saving.

Your folder, running as a service
Sidequestor is for people who want to expose a local working directory as a service that stays awake. It can keep doing work, help colleagues, notice new replies, and continue a mission while you are away.
