ChiantiPy.tools.io.splomRead(ions, ea=False, filename=None)

Read chianti .splom files

Parameters:

ions : str

Ion, e.g. ‘c_5’ for C V

ea : bool

Read .easplom file

filename : str, optional

Custom filename, will override that specified by ions

Returns:

{‘lvl1’, ‘lvl2’, ‘ttype’, ‘gf’, ‘deryd’, ‘c’, ‘splom’, ‘ref’} : dict
