ChiantiPy.tools.io.scupsRead(ions, filename=None, verbose=False)

Read the new format v8 scups file containing the scaled temperature and upsilons from [R81].

Parameters:

ions : str

Ion, e.g. ‘c_5’ for C V

filename : str, optional

Custom filename, will override that specified by ions

verbose : bool
