Import mutual funds

A consolidated statement lists every mutual-fund folio across all AMCs. Request one, it arrives by email as a password-protected PDF, and you upload it here. That fills your Mutual Funds page — with gold and silver funds routed to Gold & Silver — with scheme, units, NAV and current value.

1 · Request your statement

Either site works — both mail the same consolidated statement covering CAMS and KFintech-serviced funds. Use whichever you can sign in to.

Open MF Central ↗ Open CAMS ↗
  1. Open MF Central (Statements → Consolidated Account Statement) or CAMS (Statements → CAS – CAMS + KFintech).
  2. Enter the email registered with your folios. The PDF is mailed only to that address, so it has to be the registered one.
  3. Choose Summary — balances and valuation is all we need. Detailed works too, it's just longer. Leave the as-on date as today.
  4. Set the password to your PAN in capitals (e.g. ABCDE1234F), in both the password and confirm boxes. This is the one step worth double-checking — the upload below assumes it.
  5. Submit, and complete the OTP if asked. The PDF usually arrives within a few minutes; sometimes it takes an hour. Then come back and upload it.

2 · Upload the PDF

{% if settings.pan %}Pre-filled with your saved PAN.{% endif %} The password decrypts the PDF in memory — the file itself is never stored, and a new import replaces the previous one.

{# The CSV route is generic and has always handled funds — an INF ISIN classifies as a mutual fund, a gold fund still routes to Gold & Silver. It was only ever linked from the CAS page, which is not where anyone goes looking to import funds. #}

Or import a CSV instead

If the statement won't arrive, won't open, or won't parse, any spreadsheet of your funds works just as well — an export from your broker, from MF Central, or a sheet you keep yourself. You confirm which column is which, so the format doesn't have to be one we've seen before.

A CSV import and a CAMS statement sit side by side: a fund in both is matched on ISIN and counted once, with the CAMS figure winning because it's the registrar's own record.

Only so the password above is filled in next time. Stored on this server, used for nothing else, and never sent anywhere.

A consolidated MF statement covers mutual funds only. Direct stocks, bonds and SGBs come from your NSDL CAS (via Upload CAS).
