When a Pelorus Voyages launch is scrubbed, passengers who opt for a voyage credit rather than a full refund can rebook on any available future departure of the same itinerary or a different itinerary, subject to the rebooking terms. Passengers who took the refund have no rebooking relationship with Pelorus Voyages and simply book afresh at current prices.

Voyage credits issued after a scrub are valid for 24 months from the scrub date and can be applied to any Pelorus Voyages voyage of equal or higher value. If the new booking is more expensive than the credit, the passenger pays the difference using any accepted payment method. If the new booking is less expensive, the unused credit remainder is retained in the passenger's account for the remainder of the 24-month validity period. Voyage credits do not accrue interest and cannot be converted to Orbital Points or Orbital Credits.

The 110 percent credit bonus (the additional 10 percent Pelorus Voyages adds to the credit as a goodwill gesture) is applied to the next voyage booking at the time of checkout and cannot be extracted as cash or transferred. If the passenger takes the refund instead of the credit, they receive the original amount paid only, not the 110 percent equivalent.

Orbital Points earned on the scrubbed voyage are held separately from the voyage credit. As noted in the loyalty programme documentation, held Points are available for redemption on the replacement booking if made within 90 days of the scrub. After 90 days, Points release to the general balance regardless of whether a rebooking has occurred.

For rebooking, priority berth access is available to scrub passengers for 14 days after the scrub notification. During this window, scrub passengers can book any available berth on any future departure that has remaining capacity, with priority over new bookings. After the 14-day priority window closes, rebooking proceeds at standard availability. Passengers with group bookings that were scrubbed should contact the group reservations desk directly during the 14-day window to coordinate group rebooking.

If the scrub passenger's preferred future departure date is full, Pelorus Voyages will add the passenger to a waitlist. Waitlist passengers are notified of availability as it arises; cancellations frequently open berths in the weeks before departure.
