The Pressurised Rover Tour is a four-hour surface drive across the regolith plains of Mare Imbrium, departing from Moon Base 7 and travelling northeast toward the crater field near the Fra Mauro uplands. The tour is available to Grand Solar Tour passengers during the extended Moon Base 7 layover; it is not available to Inner Planets Survey or Outer Reaches Tour passengers, whose four-hour transit window at Moon Base 7 does not permit shore excursions.

The rover is a 12-seat pressurised vehicle with panoramic side windows and a filtered transparent roof section. Passengers travel inside the pressurised compartment without suits for the duration of the drive. The transparent roof and wide side windows provide unobstructed views of the lunar surface, the Earth visible as a full disc above the horizon (location-dependent), and the harsh terminator line between day and night on the surface. At the Moon's slow rotation rate, the terminator moves visibly over the course of a four-hour drive.

The route covers three stopping points. The first is the Apennine Foothills overlook, where the rover pauses at an elevated ridge for a 360-degree view of the surrounding mare. The second stop is a crater-side viewing area at a relatively fresh 2-kilometre impact crater, where the guide explains the mechanics of lunar impact geology — no atmosphere means no weathering and no erosion, so craters persist indefinitely, preserving the history of the solar system's bombardment record in the surface. The third stop is an optional brief EVA (10 minutes maximum), where passengers who completed the EVA suit orientation may step out onto the lunar surface in suit for a short walk. EVA participation at this stop is not required; passengers who prefer to stay in the rover are welcome to do so.

Return to Moon Base 7 from the third stop is approximately 45 minutes. The rover must be back in the Bay 3 vehicle lock at least 30 minutes before the muster deadline for the vessel departure. Pelorus Voyages rover guides manage this timing and will curtail the third stop EVA if necessary to ensure on-time return. The rover tour cannot be extended.

GST passengers interested in both the rover tour and the Lunar Golf Links should note that the combined time for both excursions, including transit to Fra Mauro and back, typically fills the available GST layover window. Pelorus Voyages recommends choosing one, or choosing the golf and the Tranquility Heritage tour as the better two-excursion combination within the layover window.
