Pelorus Voyages offers a free cancellation window of 14 days from the date of booking for all itineraries and cabin classes. Cancellations submitted within 14 days of booking receive a full refund of any amounts paid, with no administrative fee. After the 14-day free window closes, cancellation fees apply based on how far in advance of the departure date the cancellation is made.

For cancellations made between 13 days after booking and 30 days before the departure date, a fee of 25 percent of the total voyage package price applies, and the remaining 75 percent is refunded. For cancellations made between 29 days and 7 days before the departure date, a fee of 50 percent applies. For cancellations made between 6 days and 48 hours before departure, a fee of 75 percent applies. Cancellations submitted within 48 hours of the departure window are non-refundable; the full voyage price is forfeited.

These fees apply per passenger on the booking. For groups of eight or more passengers travelling under a single group booking reference, the free cancellation window is extended to 21 days from the date of booking, and the tiered fee schedule begins after that 21-day window closes.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing through the Pelorus Voyages online account portal or by contacting bookings support directly. Cancellation is effective from the date and time the written request is received and logged, not from the date the passenger decided to cancel. Verbal cancellations are not accepted.

The standard cancellation policy does not apply to launch scrubs initiated by Pelorus Voyages. A scrubbed launch entitles the passenger to a full refund or a voyage credit regardless of when the scrub is announced. Medical disqualification — where a passenger's physician withdraws clearance after booking — also falls outside this policy and is covered under the medical disqualification refund policy. Passengers in either situation should not process a standard cancellation and should contact bookings support to initiate the appropriate claim.
