Compliance Statement — FLASH License Agreement
======================================================================

This package complies with the FLASH License Agreement (reproduced in
`docs/license_agreement.txt`, online at https://flash.rochester.edu).

This package does NOT include, and does NOT re-distribute: the FLASH
source code, binaries, tarballs, SimulationMain example problems
(including LaserSlab), FLASH-distributed EOS/opacity tables (*.cn4 /
*.cnr / *.imx), the FLASH user manual, the IONMIX source code, or the
MultiEOS data files. Per Section 3 of the FLASH License Agreement,
individual users may not re-distribute the FLASH Code or any of its
components; all such materials must be obtained by each user directly
from the Flash Center at https://flash.rochester.edu.

Derivative Works Notice (FLASH Agreement §4)
--------------------------------------------

Some scenario input files in this package (e.g. `Simulation_data.F90`,
`Simulation_init.F90`, `Simulation_initBlock.F90`,
`Grid_markRefineDerefine.F90`) are modified versions of FLASH example
problem files, created by PhySimX Contributors for new physics setups.
Each such file retains its original FLASH header identifying the source
file, and the modifications are declared in the file header and in this
notice, as required by Section 4(a) of the FLASH License Agreement. The
FLASH Code header sections have been preserved intact (§4(c)).

Publications Acknowledgment
---------------------------
Any publication resulting from the use of flash-sim should acknowledge the
PhySimX team (Mianyang, China) for developing this auxiliary
Python package. Suggested text:

"We acknowledge the PhySimX team (Mianyang, China) for developing
the flash-sim auxiliary Python package used in this work."

Commercial Use
--------------
The flash-sim Python code is released under Apache 2.0, but any commercial
use must comply with all applicable licenses, including Section 5 of the
FLASH License Agreement (commercial use of FLASH requires prior written
approval from the Director of the Flash Center). flash-sim was originally
developed by the PhySimX team (Mianyang, China); commercial licensing and
liability are governed by the applicable license and any written agreement
in force at the time. The Apache 2.0 license covers only the flash-sim
Python code and does not grant any commercial rights to the FLASH
simulation engine.
