# skillpluck

**Modest, but capable.** A small tool that installs selected agent skill folders from a full Git clone and rewrites their resolved local references.

Requires Python 3.8+ and Git. No third-party Python runtime dependencies.

```sh
pip install skillpluck
```

Or, for an isolated CLI installation:
```sh
pipx install skillpluck
```

run
```sh
skillpluck /path/to/git-repo catalog/primary catalog/secondary -o .omp/skills
```

A Git URL also works. Selected folders go directly under the output directory; dependencies and licenses go into the first folder's `support/`. Resolved Markdown links, JSON Schema references, and module imports stay file-relative. Commands and working-directory paths target the project directory where you ran skillpluck.

Existing unrelated skills are kept; destination or report collisions never overwrite files. Broken explicit local links and relative imports fail before installation. Source scripts are never executed. `skillpluck-report.json` records installed paths, rewrites, and unresolved candidates. Dynamic paths and external packages are not resolved; review unresolved candidates before use.
