Connection to Vinted

Right now only this computer can open this page. Alerts don't need it. To open the page on your phone too, on the same Wi-Fi, takes about two minutes:

  1. In your docker-compose.yml, change the port line from 127.0.0.1:8000:8000 to 8000:8000 and add a password under environment: VINTED_SNIPER_WEB_AUTH_TOKEN: {{ suggested_password }}
  2. Run docker compose up -d. Your phone asks for that password once.

  1. Stop vinted-sniper: in the window where it runs, press Ctrl+C.
  2. Open the settings file in a text editor, or make it if it isn't there yet. It's a file called .env in the folder you start vinted-sniper from:{{ settings_file }}

The password keeps other people on the same Wi-Fi out, since this page shows where your alerts go.

Everything is stored in one file on this computer.
