Visionary Source-Available License (VSAL) v2.0

Copyright (c) 2026 Saurav Sajeev. All rights reserved, except as expressly
permitted below.

In short: you may use, run, copy and modify Visionary for any purpose,
including in a business and in production, to monitor software of your own,
even software that makes money. You may not sell Visionary, charge for access
to it, or offer it to others as a product or service. This summary is for
convenience; the terms below are what apply.

1. Definitions

"Software" means Visionary, including its source code, object code, server,
host agent, SDKs, libraries, command-line tools, documentation, and associated
materials distributed under this License.

"Author" means Saurav Sajeev, the original author and copyright holder of the
Software, to the extent of their ownership of the relevant material.

"SDKs" means the client libraries distributed as part of the Software for
embedding in other software, including the server, browser, mobile and test
reporter libraries.

"Your Applications" means software, websites, mobile apps, services and
infrastructure that you or your organization build, own or operate, other than
the Software itself.

"Sell or Monetize" means any of the following, whether or not the Software is
modified:

  a. Selling, licensing, sublicensing, renting or leasing the Software or
     copies of it.

  b. Charging any fee, subscription or other consideration for access to the
     Software or to its functionality.

  c. Offering the Software to third parties as a hosted, managed,
white-labelled or software-as-a-service product, whether paid or offered
to win or keep paying customers.

  d. Including the Software, or a substantial portion of it, in a product or
service that you sell or license to third parties, where the Software's
functionality is a substantial part of what the customer receives.

"Redistribution" means making the Software, or a modified or derivative version
of it, available to another person or entity by distribution, publication,
hosting for download, sublicensing, or other transfer.

2. Grant of Permission

Subject to the terms of this License, the Author grants you a worldwide,
non-exclusive, royalty-free, non-transferable license to:

  a. Access, view, and study the Software's source code.

  b. Download, install, run and use the Software for any purpose, personal or
commercial, in development, testing, staging and production, within an
     organization of any size.

  c. Use the Software to monitor, observe, analyse, test and alert on Your
Applications, including applications you sell, applications that earn
revenue, and applications you build or operate for your clients.

  d. Modify the Software and use your modified version under the same terms.

  e. Make copies needed for the uses above, including backups.

  f. Have contractors, consultants and service providers exercise these rights
on your behalf and for your benefit, provided they comply with this
     License.

These permissions do not transfer ownership of the Software or grant any rights
beyond those expressly stated in this License.

3. SDKs Inside Your Applications

You may include the SDKs, modified or not, in Your Applications and distribute
them as part of Your Applications, for example in a website's scripts, a mobile
app, a server application or a container image, provided that:

  a. the SDKs are distributed only as part of Your Applications, not as a
standalone library, package or product; and

  b. the copyright notice and this License (or a link to it) are kept with
the SDK code where your build process keeps such notices.

Installing the SDKs from the package registries where the Author publishes them
is permitted.

4. Restrictions

You must not, without the Author's prior written permission:

  a. Sell or Monetize the Software.

  b. Redistribute the Software, a modified version, fork or derivative work,
in source or binary form, except as Section 3 allows.

  c. Publish the Software or modified versions to public package registries,
marketplaces, application stores or download platforms.

  d. Sublicense, transfer, or grant others rights to use the Software beyond
the permissions expressly provided in this License.

  e. Remove or misrepresent the Software's authorship, copyright notices, or
     license information.

  f. Use the Author's name, the Visionary name or its logos to imply
endorsement of, or to market, your own products or services.

For clarity, the following are permitted and are not Selling or Monetizing:
running the Software inside a business; using it for applications that make
money; charging your clients for work on their own applications while you use
the Software to monitor them; and installing or configuring the Software on a
client's own infrastructure for that client's own use, provided you do not
charge for the Software itself or for access to it.

5. Commercial Licensing

The Author may separately grant licenses to Sell or Monetize, redistribute,
sublicense or otherwise use the Software beyond the permissions granted here.
Such a license requires prior written authorization from the Author and may set
fees, attribution requirements, support terms, distribution rights and other
conditions.

6. Ownership and Intellectual Property

The Software remains the property of its respective copyright holders.

This License does not transfer ownership of the Software, its name, branding,
trademarks, or logos. No trademark license is granted except as necessary to
identify the unmodified Software truthfully.

You retain ownership of your independently created contributions to the extent
provided by applicable law, but this does not grant you permission to
redistribute, Sell or Monetize the Software or derivative works in violation
of this License.

7. Third-Party Components

This License applies only to material the Author has the legal right to
license under these terms.

Third-party components, dependencies, and contributions remain subject to their
respective licenses. Where another license grants rights that cannot legally
be restricted by this License, those rights remain unaffected.

You are responsible for complying with applicable third-party license
obligations when using or distributing such components.

8. Termination

Your permissions under this License terminate automatically if you materially
violate its terms.

Upon termination, you must cease activities that are no longer authorized by
this License, subject to any rights or remedies provided by applicable law.

Permissions may be reinstated by the Author in writing.

Termination does not eliminate rights that applicable law makes irrevocable,
nor does it automatically revoke separate licenses granted by third-party
copyright holders.

9. Disclaimer of Warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

YOU ASSUME ALL RISKS ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE, TO THE MAXIMUM
EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE AUTHOR SHALL NOT BE
LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT,
OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR ITS
USE, DISTRIBUTION, OR OTHER DEALINGS.

Nothing in this License excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded
under applicable law.

11. No Additional Rights

No rights are granted by implication, estoppel, or otherwise beyond those
expressly stated in this License.

Any use, distribution, or commercialization not expressly permitted requires
the Author's prior written permission, unless applicable law provides
otherwise.

12. Governing Law

The governing law and jurisdiction applicable to this License shall be
determined by a separate written agreement between the relevant parties or, in
the absence of such an agreement, by applicable law and conflict-of-law rules.

13. Entire Agreement and Versions

This License governs the permissions granted by the Author for the Software
covered by it. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions
shall continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

This version applies to copies of the Software that carry it. It replaces the
Visionary Non-Commercial License (VNCL) v1.0 for those copies.
