4. Roberts et al. (1998), line Viking Graben 1 (digitized, derived data)
   pybasinsubs/example_data/north_sea/roberts1998_fig4a_vg1_digitized.csv and the
fault-stick examples in pybasinsubs/example_data/faults/ derived from it.
Horizon depths were digitized by the pyBasinSubs authors from Fig. 4a of:
   Roberts, A.M., Kusznir, N.J., Yielding, G., Styles, P. (1998) 2D flexural
backstripping of extensional basins: the need for a sideways glance.
   Petroleum Geoscience 4, 327-338. https://doi.org/10.1144/petgeo.4.4.327
Only digitized numerical values (no image) are distributed, for research and
teaching; the figure itself remains copyright of its publisher. Precision is
limited (about +-50 m in depth, +-0.2 km in x).

5. Miller et al. (2020) global sea-level curve - NOT distributed
Miller, K.G. et al. (2020) Cenozoic sea-level and cryospheric evolution from
deep-sea geochemical and continental margin records. Science Advances 6,
   eaaz1346. https://doi.org/10.1126/sciadv.aaz1346 (CC BY-NC 4.0)
Because CC BY-NC is not compatible with AGPL-3.0 redistribution, the curve
is downloaded on first use from the BasinSubs repository and cached locally
   (pybasinsubs.sealevel.miller2020_path). Non-commercial use only.
The two small tables coastal_range/Sealevel/SL_Unit_N.csv and SL_Unit_S.csv
(unit-averaged values, 2 x ~20 numbers) are kept as reference outputs
   for the parity tests.
tests/fixtures/synthetic_sealevel.csv is a synthetic curve generated for the
tests and contains no Miller et al. data.

6. Compiled by the pyBasinSubs authors (AGPL-3.0-or-later)
pybasinsubs/example_data/north_sea/group_lookup.csv: ages from the ICS 2023
chart and approximate lithology / paleo-water depth values compiled from
Gradstein et al. (2010), Halland et al. (2014) and Henriksen et al. (2011).

Licence compatibility
Dependencies (NumPy, SciPy, pandas, Matplotlib, openpyxl, Panel, Bokeh,
Streamlit, scikit-image, ...) keep their own permissive licences, which are
compatible with AGPLv3. Bundled data under CC BY 4.0 and NLOD 2.0 remain under those terms
(attribution required). CC BY-NC data (Miller et al. 2020) are not bundled.

Network use (AGPL-3.0 section 13)
If you modify pyBasinSubs and let other people interact with it over a
network (for example by serving the Panel or Streamlit apps in
pybasinsubs/apps, pybasinsubs-ui or pybasinsubs-tracer to remote users), you
must offer those users the Corresponding Source of your modified version.
Running the apps locally for yourself creates no such obligation.
