PyPMT is a Python package designed to aid researchers as they import, analyze, and visualize data pertaining to Antarctica and Greenland. It is largely inspired by the Matlab toolbox Antarctic Mapping Tools, which can be found here: https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/47638-antarctic-mapping-tools.
