isp op• Data kinds: image2d → image2d
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.raw_dead_pixel_correct(raw, threshold=0.1) (to call the implementation directly, import gfx2d; gfx2d.raw_dead_pixel_correct(raw, threshold=0.1); from the registry, opsgfx2d.get("raw_dead_pixel_correct"))
Replace every dead pixel (:func:raw_dead_pixel_mask) by the median of its 8 same-colour neighbours; every other pixel is returned bit-for-bit.
The median rather than the mean so that two adjacent defects do not pull
each other's replacement. Ground truth: in a smooth frame with planted
defects the corrected values are within the neighbours' range and the
untouched pixels are identical to the input.
• Sample-data catalog (download URLs / licences) — 2-D uses skimage.data (BSD/public domain) plus synthetic images; 3-D lists download URLs for real data sources (Stanford, PDS, …).
• Operator provenance and references — the sources of the research/methods this op family came from.
• The canonical algorithm (author, year) and its uses are named in the family usage guide above.
