Conversion
All combined modes create one PDF, insert a page break before the supplement, and switch figures, tables, equations, and sections to S-numbering.

For separate files, layout (columns, line numbers, spacing) is set on each uploaded Main/Supplement file in the list above. A combined-document mode overrides the main file's column choice.

Export to a folder

Preview first (left) to check the conversion compiled. A preview is kept in temporary local storage (cleared automatically after about an hour and when the app closes); Export copies the files you pick to a folder you choose to keep.

Check & clean a file (strip metadata)

Standalone tool, independent of the conversion above. Check reports what a file exposes without changing it; Clean returns a copy with that content removed. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PDF and images. Some things cannot be fixed automatically — those are listed separately so you can deal with them yourself.

Legacy .doc/.ppt/.xls can be checked but not cleaned: they can retain deleted text. Save as the modern format first, then clean that.

What are my figures?

Figure overrides are matched by number, and the number is the image's position in the document — not necessarily what its caption says. List them here before you assign numbers to uploads, so a replacement lands on the figure you meant. Nothing is converted and nothing is written.

Export to HTML or Markdown

Standalone tool, independent of the conversion above: export a manuscript to a single self-contained .html file or a plain .md file — no LaTeX project, no journal template. Figures are embedded (HTML) or copied alongside (Markdown); a reconciled reference list is appended either way.
