# Mohit CLI

AI-powered CLI that converts natural language into safe shell commands.

## Installation

### Option 1 : Install with `pipx`

```bash
pipx install mohit-cli
```

If `pipx` is not installed:

```bash
python -m pip install --user pipx
```

Then add it to your PATH:

```bash
python -m pipx ensurepath
```

Restart your terminal and install Mohit CLI:

```bash
pipx install mohit-cli
```

---

### Option 2: Install with `uv`

If you use `uv`, install the tool globally:

```bash
uv tool install mohit-cli
```

If `uv` is not installed:

```bash
powershell -ExecutionPolicy ByPass -c "irm https://astral.sh/uv/install.ps1 | iex"
```

After installing `uv`, run:

```bash
uv tool install mohit-cli
```

---

## Setup

Get your Groq API key:

https://console.groq.com/keys

Then configure Mohit CLI:

```bash
mohit config
```

You will be prompted to enter:

```text
Provider (groq):
Groq API Key:
```

Your configuration will be saved locally, so you only need to do this once.

---

## Usage

Generate a shell command from natural language:

```bash
mohit "list files"
```

Examples:

```bash
mohit "find all python files"
```

```bash
mohit "show running processes"
```

```bash
mohit "delete empty folders"
```

The generated command will be shown before execution, and you will be asked for confirmation.
